The frozen product sector ends 2020 with a double-digit growth

This year, the salted frozen food sector has achieved unprecedented growt, exceeding +12% in value, for volumes up by more than 10%. Sweet frozen foods, are close to 10% growth in value for volumes up by more than 8%. Over the December period, although growth was less than in October (compared with the previous year's periods), it was still relatively high. With variations in sales of salted frozen foods ranging from +1.3% for vegetables to +13% for meat and even +14% for seafood.

Manufacturers' brands strengthened over this period (+9% in value against +6% for private labels vs. P12 2019).
