Paysan Breton arrives in the egg department

Paysan Breton, well known for its butter and fresh cheese Madame Loïk, is launching products in the egg aisle in Système U stores in Brittany. The four product range includes free-range and organic eggs, packaged by 6 or 12. The products come from the Kervenac'h farm, based in Côtes-d'Armor.

The timing is not ideal. The avian flu is forcing farmers to keep laying hens indoors for the time being. But apart from these exceptional measures, they have access to wooded areas.
Above all, the producers are assured of a fair pay for their work.

The eggs are offered at the PVC of 1.50 € the 6 in free range and 2.58 € the 6 for organic.
