Climate law : the article voted to boost bulk sales

What does Article 11 of the Climate Law say ? In summary, by 1 January 2030, retail outlets with a surface area of 400 m² or more will have to devote at least 20% of their sales area to the sale of products without primary packaging, including bulk sales, or a system of equivalent effect expressed in terms of the number of references or the proportion of turnover. A decree should specify the objectives to be reached, depending on the categories of products, health and safety requirements, the specificities of distribution networks, in particular certain types of specialised shops, as well as the adaptations required in the practices of producers, distributors and consumers. In other words, this decree will be key. And it is an experiment conducted for a period of three years from a date defined by order of the Minister for the Environment.
